Overview

Background

Clover provides a point-of-sale ecosystem for small and medium-sized businesses, that includes hardware to ring up orders and take payments on, software that adjusts to their business need and allows the merchant to track reporting and sales on their phone or web browser.
Clover offers an App Market where merchants can find tools that better fit their specific business needs.Merchants don’t often go into the App Market once they’ve got their business up and running, so there’s a challenge in engaging new merchants to find value in additional apps when they’re getting set up.

User

Merchants on the Clover platform looking to integrate an existing Google My Business account or create a new one if one doesn’t exist for their business and manage the information from their dashboard.

Problem

Merchants don’t have a way to easily link their Google My Business account with their Clover account, and the Google My Business sign-up flow allows for plenty of edge-case paths.

Solution

Provide merchants with a straightforward path to connecting their Clover business to the Google My Business platform to automatically manage and update on online storefront on Google.
The solution blends Google and Clover UX patterns and was designed to work across Web, Clover Mini, Clover Flex, and Clover Station.
